A TVPC please Santa

Now this is much more like it !

LG calls it a TVPC...instead of a bloody silly stripped back PC trying to do telly things...come at it from the other direction, take a nice telly, a whap in a computer into the case :0)

Nice - won't be rushing to buy it as I've no intention of being on the bleeding edge of this product line...but worth watching I think !

Implants

Now I consider myself pretty open to life's challenges, twists and turns and the quirky little foibles people have. However I've never really understood body modifications...I'd quite like a tattoo but I'm not entirely certain why (hence the reason I've not done it yet) but I've just stumbled across body modifiction to the extreme.

(Not for those of you having recently eaten or of a sqeamish disposition)

3d Art Implants

And this one REALLY REALLY isn't for you delicate souls

Transdermal Implants

And yes ! the two Goth-looking f##kups at the bottom of this page DO INDEED have tubes connected between their implants and appear to be sharing blood...I am F##KIN' speechless at the utter utter stupidity of some people...These morons have got to get a nomination for the Darwin Awards...here's bloody hoping they're infertile and never get the opportunity to breed.

Psstt...want some pills ?

Boardmad...still mad for it !

My poor old guestbook has become a target for moronic peddlars of hair-removal cream, porn and the usual male organ enhancement pills and potions. *sigh*...how many times will they try to post onto it before they realise I validate ALL the posts before letting them loose on my site !

Hmmm...missed the point a bit ladies !

Someone who's followed my fall-out with Evesham posted in this forum about my plight but it's fallen on deaf ears :0(

"...yaddah..yaddah...paying that much for a laptop...blah...complains when it won't run his favourite game."

Hmmm...a little knowledge seems to be a dangerous thing for a lot of people !! The machine in question was A listed on PCPro for 4 months before I bought it and specifically marketed as a desktop replacement (which I wanted) and fully capable of playing the "latest games" (which I also wanted!) Then shitty luck for me about 3 weeks after I buy the thing Rock bring out their core 2 duo offerings which are comparable in price and blows the pants off it for performance. Tought titty for me !

As I already outlined the machine's fine in everything and all I feel let down by Evesham about is their total couldn't care less attitude once they'd got my cash. Nothing more...crappy, sucky, useless customer care which we in the UK simply bend over and take because we've become inured to it and don't seem to like to complain.
Well that ain't me...all I asked them to let me do was swap this monster out for something less exotic...I'd've happily paid the transit costs etc etc...nope..not interested..Piss off ! THAT'S WHY EVESHAM SUCK Dixie you know-nothing moron....love and kisses :)

EveSHAM make a shameful appearance on finance.google.com

...So while online last night I came across this link as well ! Thank goodness for Google !!
This blog holds top spot (atm) in their Finance entry for Evesham Technology Ltd.

On a separate note a fellow web-denizen on a forum I frequent reports he was considering making a purchase with EveSHAM...I've pointed him toward this and RikBean's stories and heartily recommended he goes with someone else that give a stuff about after-sales and customer service...Amd hoping to hear back that he HAS cancelled the sale and that my contact details were provided as the main reason ! More soon...

Evesham Suck gets GoogleBombed

Yeah !
After only a couple of weeks online EveshamSuck has been GoogleBombed and I'm happy to announce that the global internet audience on searching for "evesham suck" will find this blog at the very top of their Google listings.
It's a perfect example of how bad customer service can reverberate painfully in prospective customer's
ears.

I've no reason to believe this blog will have any effect on my situation, however if it makes one or two PC or Laptop buyers stop and consider their purchase, then take their money to a company with a more accomplished customer service record then I'll consider the small effort I've put in time well spent.

Evesham Technology UK Suck

So...why do Evesham Technology suck ?

[length warning]
About 10 weeks ago I purchased an expensive desktop replacement laptop from Evesham. Total price came to just shy of £1500 a not inconsiderable sum for a PC nevermind a laptop but I liked the review, respected PCPro's views on the machine and went ahead.

My new machine arrived, I plugged it in to charge and left for the requisite period. The first thing I did was install my (current) favourite game (BF2) to see how it looked on this all-singing, all-dancing monster of a machine ! Installed it, patched, started it up...poof ! Crash To Desktop (CTD). Now these are notoriously difficult to diagnose but with a bit of effort I got there, informed EAGames (makers of BF2) who valiantly tried to help me get it running - no joy. Their final suggestion - contact the laptop integrators and see if there's anything they can do ?

Scroll rapidly forward to today and I've got my laptop back from Evesham following it's second RMA and I still cannot play my preferred games on it. We are however a little clearer on exactly what the relationship between and organisation like Evesham and the paying customer is...they do not give a stuff about you once they've got your cash !

I've been informed that Evesham has a "limited responsibility for software compatibility" with their machines...I can accept that statement but it would have been nice to have a) known that before I coughed up nearly £1.5k for a machine I can't play my games on b) known what else they think/know their machines have 'ahem' compatibility issues with.

In addition to this I've now no way of knowing, what the machine will be capable of running. I just bought my wife Sims 2...will this work on their laptop and if I call tech support/customer service to point out this failing I'm just going to get the same 'get out' clause.

I've asked on at least two calls with customer service for them swap out my machine for something with a better 'compatibility' rating ie not a dual mobile SLI-enabled graphics sub-system but they have stubbornly refused stating again and again there's nothing wrong with the laptop. I've acknowledged their machine works ok...I've just made a mistake buying something that's so bleeding-edge. I would happily forego some of the graphics processing grunt for a laptop that at least plays the majority of my preferred games ? What the hell happened to Customer service ?

Shame on you Evesham...your complete lack of any post-sale Customer care and interest in getting me a machine that fulfills my requirements means this blog has had to be started - as much as catharsis for me as to document the problem.
